Messiaskirken for English speakers

Messiaskirken is a confessional Lutheran congregation in Oslo. Are you visiting the city or living here for a short or long period? Come worship together with us! We always celebrate Divine Service on Sundays at 11.00 AM, and also on some other holidays. Check out our calendar for additional Divine services and events.

As a confessional Lutheran congregation we believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and that the Book of Concord is a true interpretation of the Bible. The Lutheran Church of Norway, which Messiaskirken is a part of, is a member of the International Lutheran Council. We have altar and pulpit fellowship with the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ingria, The Association of American Lutheran Churches, The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia and The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lithuania.
